Here are the kids right before I disappear to get ready for the morning. I'll let you decide what they're watching so intently...maybe a highly-qualified nanny presenting stimulating educational programming...maybe not, especially given the rate at which Katherine's been quoting commercials lately..."Mom, Johnson's baby shampoo makes your hair shine", "Have we ever used Clorox? Is it really better?", or how about referencing "Pickles" (the dog from the Progressive commercials) - "You know, Mom, the dog that can save you hundreds of dollars on your car insurance." Oh well...she's still generally well-rounded.

Aunt Jill holding John while we "prune-torture" him - actually, he liked the prunes...he was just sleepy.

We were at Target earlier this summer and I saw Katherine really checking out one of the air mattresses. I interrupted her moment of reflection and asked what she was thinking about. Her response? "I'm just remembering when our family was like this one...a mom, a dad, and a daughter." Sheesh...

More pictures from the fair...John and I bailed on the rides and hung out in the car. He got to play in the front seat for the first time.
