Katherine had so much fun yesterday fossil hunting that she asked if we could go back again today. She really wanted to take her dad. (Scott had gone mountain biking in another part of the park so he missed all the fun.) She showed him exactly how to pick up little rocks and look for "baby snails". (In fact, it seems that about 99.9% of all ordovician fossils came from baby snails according to Katherine.) We also re-discovered the playground, where Katherine and her hat both got the chance to swing.
