Apple Orchard

Last weekend we went to Irons Fruit Farm with Grandma, Jill, and Erik. Mostly I stood in line because this place was packed and the line to buy anything was very, very long. (It struck me as somewhat surreal since I've been coming to Irons since I was a little kid and it always seemed so out-in-the-country then, and now they have people directing traffic.) However, Katherine got to see lots of pumpkins and animals and apples and generally speaking, all things fall. She decided she wanted a pumpkin sugar cookie and, when she got it, she smiled and said, "See, I told you I wanted this cookie!"

Here she is being protected by her brave Aunt Jill from one of the many suspicious goats.
