Grandma - Grandpa and a new roof!

It has been a big week - we are getting a new roof and a really exciting pile old shingles, nails and siding to explore from a safe distance

We went to Maggie's house for Thursday 'trick or treat' and Katherine got a good haul - including a particularly nuanced cherry tootsie pop

We also had a great visit with Grandma Mary and Grandpa Jack - they brought an amazing art set for K - which produced a number of singular works over the weekend - we also were able to go to the zoo and see SNAKES!!! and ALLIGATORS!!! (really very exciting and we also saw a manatee poop but unfortunately that did not make it on camera) - very fun and we are looking forward to seeing them at Thanksgiving!
