A Walk in the Woods

We are very excited to be digging out our gloves and boots - ah, November hiking! We walked down to the river behind our house this morning. Katherine saw ducks and found 50 mussel shells. Later, after we'd climbed back out of the river valley, we heard another family hiking below us. Katherine said, "They're going to say, 'Who took all those mussel shells?'".

Katherine loves throwing rocks in rivers!
