Lunch and board games:
A hike through the dunes...K was super grumpy when she heard there were 400 steps ahead to go up and over the dunes...so she ran most of the way! She told me later she has a hard time controlling her temper and ends up running when she's super mad. J and I were slower (though even he hiked to the top of the dunes like a champ - so 200 steps?!) and came upon a couple K had just whizzed past and the man kept saying, "Did you see that little girl?!"

Looking north to Grand Haven...obviously not everyone was enamored with the view.
BUT we went to dinner at a pizza place in Grand Haven that let's you write on the brick walls...this made up for the miles of hiking and hundreds of stairs.
A quick stop at the old school playground right up the road from our house...
