Spring Break in....Michigan?!

Yes, Michigan in March. We pretty much have this beach all to ourselves...crazy lovely.

We're staying in a gated community with a private beach - all the homes seem to have golf carts that they use to run out onto the beach. Our homeowner ran these chairs out to the beach for us:

The only other people we saw were a couple of kiteboarders (and their 3 dogs). Here's John dreaming of the day he's big enough to do stuff like this:

The place we're staying is pretty nice, but not quite the mansion that is beyond Katherine's head.
